Centralised actions

The European Commission's European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) is responsible for the implementation of certain actions, under direct management. These actions, known as centralised actions, are as follows:

  • Virtual exchanges: Interpersonal, online activities that promote intercultural dialogue and the development of generic skills. They are organised in small groups and should be moderated by a trained facilitator. They can be in addition to physical exchanges. Proposals must be submitted by a consortium of at least four organisations.
  • Skills building in the youth field: International cooperation projects based on multilateral partnerships between organisations active in the field of youth in Programme Countries and third countries not associated to the Programme. It aims to support international cooperation and policy dialogue in the field of youth and non-formal learning as a driver for sustainable socio-economic development and the well-being of young people and youth organisations.
  • Juventud Europea Unida: This project supports the establishment of transnational partnerships for youth organisations, either at grassroots level or in large-scale partnerships, with the aim of strengthening the European dimension of their activities, in particular on how to live better together and help design sustainable ways of living in the future, in line with the European Green Pact and the new European Bauhaus.

EACEA is also responsible for the management of Partnerships in the fields of education, training and youth presented by European NGOs and small-scale partnerships in the field of sport.

Both the calls for proposals and the application forms for these actions are published on the EACEA Funding and Tendering Portal.
