Accreditations in the youth field (KA 150)

Erasmus accreditation ensures that an organisation meets the quality standards and requirements, defined by the European Commission, in order to receive funding to carry out educational mobility projects in the youth field.

It is aimed at organisations with previous experience and planning to develop projects under Key Action 1 (KA1) in the modalities "Youth Exchanges" and/or "Mobility projects for youth workers" throughout the Programme period (2021-2027). These organisations should set out their aims and their long-term plan for the activities they will carry out with Erasmus funding as well as the expected benefits and their approach to project management.

Once accreditation has been approved, grant applications can be submitted through a simplified procedure and by dates set out in the annual programme guide. Grant applications will be based on the activity plan approved at accreditation and therefore, instead of requiring a list and a detailed description of the activities foreseen, applications will focus on the estimated number of activities and number of participants involved.

Accreditation is granted on a continuous basis until the end of the programme period (2021 to 2027) and is subject to regular monitoring and ongoing compliance with the accreditation requirements and instructions issued by the corresponding national agency.

In order to submit youth mobility projects using the standard procedure, not only is this accreditation not necessary, but its possession makes it impossible submit projects outside this framework, although these projects may act as partner organisations in other projects.

Applications for accreditation must be submitted using the KA150 YOU form.
